Fletcher Scholarship Breakfast
We had a very successful parent/scholar recognition breakfast on Friday, March 6. 2009. Robert McCrary, youth pastor at Community Presbyterian Church gave a very inspirational keynote speech. A total of 100 parents and students attended, and 51 parent recognition certificates given out. Congratulations to our 3 well deserving scholarship winners -- Emma Ambler, Allison Archer, and Jennifer Morris. Thank you to our hard working Kiwanis volunteers Butch and Bev Shadwell, Jim Lee, Doris Barnes, John Bates, Gary Crumley, Charlie Bender, Joe Overby, Bill MacLeod, Burt Van Wagner, and Bill Montgomery. Thank you also to Community Presbyterian Church for the use of their kitchen and fellowship hall.
